Who we are

A leading third-party logistics provider for perishable commodities.

Flora Logistics specializes in perishable commodities — flowers, produce, dairy, meat and more. Established in Miami in 1991, we provide services worldwide, giving customers a “one stop shop” that covers the entire range of supply chain needs, from origin to final destination.

We operate a 300,000 square foot facility with more than 200,000 square feet of temperature- and humidity-controlled space, 57,000 square feet of “dry” cargo space, and 40,000 square feet of office space. With our experience, expertise and state-of-the-art facility, Flora Logistics extends the life of your products.

Infrastructure

State-of-the-art infrastructure

The cornerstone and pride of the Flora Logistics operation is its cold storage facility — and it is about more than capacity. First and foremost, it is about preserving and extending the shelf life of your products.

With over 200,000 square feet of temperature-controlled space, towering over 40 feet high, the Flora Logistics facility is large enough to handle all of your perishable product needs.

Located a mile from Miami International Airport — the U.S. gateway to the world for flowers, produce and other perishables — Flora Logistics is convenient, fast and economical. With easy access, a large truck court, and easy back-in and exit for trucks, we can efficiently and effectively bring product in and send it out without delay.

We are certified with an “Excellent” rating by Scientific Certification Systems, an independent third-party food safety auditor. With FDA and Florida approval as a food safety facility, Flora Logistics handles food products for some of the largest retailers and food providers in the United States. We comply with the requirements of some of the most rigid food service companies in the world, and with new and developing legislation.

In our customers' words

Twenty-five days in the cooler.

“Today we looked at some roses that we kept for 25 days in your cooler!!!!! Amazing how long our flowers last in your cooler. Any other cooler would never keep these roses more than 8–10 days tops. I am so very happy that we moved in to your facility. All of our credit problems are eliminated and we can hold flowers so much longer prior to selling. I can certainly say that whatever your charges for storage and warehousing, it is more than worth it.”

“Your service is impeccable, courteous and professional and I can easily see that we can grow with your company. I would recommend your company anytime!”

“It was great working with you and your team and I have really been impressed both times I was on-site for the holidays. You guys are professionals who know what you are doing and our decision to move from our previous vendor to Flora Logistics is validated in my mind every time I'm there. It's been a pleasure working with you and I'm a better person personally and professionally because of that.”
